Job Description

Brief Description of Role: Kennedys continue to develop a high profile Counter-Fraud Team to provide Counter-Fraud Solutions based in its Manchester office. The firm has committed a substantial amount of investment to this team and is currently looking for a fraud fee-earner with counter-fraud experience. The right candidate will have experience of and an intelligent, pragmatic approach to counter-fraud investigation and personally injury litigation.

Team information: The fraud team is based in our Manchester office and is made up of: 1 Partner, 3 Solicitors and 1 Legal Apprentice supported by an intelligence team and market leading counter-fraud IT system.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Desirable: UK Qualified Solicitor, Foreign Qualified Solicitor, FILEX qualifications or equivalent.

Experience: (Type, length, quality, background)

Essential: Between 2 - 4 years' liability fraud experience. Candidates with a cross section of experience of defendant counter-fraud work in motor and EL/PL claims either as a paralegal, non-qualified fee earner or solicitor.*
We may consider candidates with extensive EL/PL claims experience who wish to retrain in fraud.

Experience of running own caseload of litigated cases, with supervision.
