Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious lawyer, with experience of working within non-contentious agricultural property, to join our nationally recognised team based in Bristol.

There will also be the opportunity for occasional travel to Exeter to work with our agriculture team based in our Exeter office.

The successful candidate will have the confidence to manage their own workload, with minimal supervision, and will be able to build upon their previous background of agricultural and rural property work experience.

At Michelmores, we're enthusiastic and fervent about what we do, who we work with and what we work on. The Michelmores approach is to look at the world through the eyes of our clients.

Our lawyers are expected to provide the highest levels of client service, demonstrating client insight and understanding; providing innovative solutions to complex problems; forging opportunities and working collaboratively as a team across different practice areas.

Michelmores has built the largest and one of the strongest Private Client practices in the region and we have achieved this precisely because our lawyers consistently deliver positive legal advice based on professional knowledge, confidence, respect, trust and, above all, results.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer who wants to continue developing their skills and knowledge within an award-winning team.

The successful candidate will have experience in non-contentious agricultural property work, including conveyancing and landlord and tenant matters. You will be confident when dealing with clients, have a keen eye for detail, eager to continually develop your skills and knowledge and happy working as part of a strong team.

Special Skills and Personal Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills; effective communicator at all levels (written and verbal).
A commercial, pro-active and professional approach to work.
Excellent organisational skills, demonstrable examples of multi-tasking and an ability to juggle competing priorities.
Must interact well with others in a sensitive and effective way - a team player.
Must be self-motivated, committed to working towards goals with strong enthusiasm and career commitment.
Understand the importance of confidentiality and use of discretion.
Possess the ability to cope well under pressure.
Must be flexible, successfully adapting to changing demands and conditions.
Demonstrate self-confidence, initiative, and be an innovative thinker.
