Job Description

Responsibilities:

Working as part of a high-performing and growing team, the new recruit will advise clients, many in the private equity sector, on a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters.

Principal responsibilities:

The new recruit will play a pivotal role in a variety of deals including but not limited to:

-Advising on all aspects of private equity.
-Advising on private company share acquisitions and disposals.
-Advising on general corporate matters including company incorporations, directors' duties, share buy-backs and company meetings.
-Advising on private company reorganisations and intra-group transfers.
-Advising on joint venture shareholders' agreements.
-Advising on standard terms and conditions for private companies and advising on various commercial contracts.

The new recruit will also be responsible for:

-Building, maintaining and developing client relationships.
-Pro-active participation in marketing initiatives.
-Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.
-Assisting with training and development of junior legal staff.

Additional Information
Experience and qualifications required:

Qualified solicitor
Directly relevant post-qualification experience gained at a recognised and busy corporate practice
Proven ability to handle and progress certain matters with minimal supervision. This is unlikely to be satisfied without at least 2 - 4 years relevant post-qualification experience
