Job Description

Our client, a leading international City practice is seeking an experienced residential property solicitor to join their busy real estate team. This role is to cover a fee-earners' maternity leave on a fixed term contract basis for 9-12 months.

The real estate team advise leading UK and international private property companies, developers, entrepreneurs, institutional property investment funds and banks, and also a number of internationally-based high net worth private investors. The team is currently involved in some of the UK's landmark projects and has a very strong reputation in the real estate sector.

The successful individual will advise on residential tenancy agreements, site acquisitions, sales and purchases, large scale investment portfolio acquisitions, financing and banking matters and ground rent portfolio acquisitions and sales.


·The successful candidate will have strong residential real estate experience, ideally gained within a highly ranked practice or real estate team.

·Technically strong, articulate, a self-starter capable of managing his/her own case load with confidence and should have good drafting and negotiation skills.

·Excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style. Effective team player - able to work effectively in an established team.

·Must have an active interest in becoming proactively involved in business development and marketing.
