Job Description

Our client, a leading firm in South East London, is looking for an excellent career minded team player to join them as a Commercial Lawyer to handle a mixed portfolio of commercial cases, both contentious and non-contentious.

The successful candidate will also have good experience of litigation and be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

Technical Skills

Professionally qualified commercial lawyer
Extensive experience of contract law and supply contracts
Working experience of using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Commitment to client care
Ability to work in a highly organised and proactive way, to prioritise and to work to deadlines
Ability to respond swiftly to new enquiries
Detailed knowledge of current practice and commercial law
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, telephone manner and attention to detail
Drafting skills
Good research skills

Commercial focus and a good billing record
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
Reliability

Desired

Contract management experience
Experience of IT solutions marketplace

Essential

Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
